NEWSLETTERS
Mailing newsletters are a thing of the past. Most newsletters are being sent by email subscription now. It is much more cost effective and you can reach a larger audience. You can put an invitation to subscribe to your newsletter on the front page of your website to make it easy for potential clients to subscribe.
An online newsletter will give you a chance to build your contact list and will give clients a way to learn about your area of expertise. The articles should be short but informative and should contain links to other useful references on the web. This is a great way for a potential client to get to know how you will best be able to help them.
PRINTED MATERIAL
Printed material is becoming less popular with all the ways there are to advertise online. It is expensive and often thrown in the circular file. It is also not the most Community Friendly way to go as your community will need to pay to recycle or dump it when discarded. There may also be a toxic cost to your community when chemicals end up in the drinking water.
BUSINESS CARDS
Business cards are handy to have on hand when you need to quickly give someone your business info. Here are other eco-friendly ways to handle this:
Type their email or phone number into your cell phone. It takes longer but it will give you a chance to start a conversation about your efforts.
Beam your business card. If you both have bluetooth cell phones you can send your card instantly!
PDF FLYERS
PDF flyers are the eco friendly way to give out brochures or put up posters. They can be send via email or put up as a download link on your website. you will be surprised how many people will pass them on via email.
MEDIA
Many large companies are cancelling their usual TV & radio ads and are hiring Social Media Managers to market online.
VIDEO
You can put your video ad online where more people are getting their entertainment.
ONLINE ADS
There are lots of companies that offer online advertising. Adwords by Google & Ads on Facebook continue to be the most popular.
